Alex Sanchez has been making jewelry for almost 10 years. He makes beautiful works of art in contemporary and traditional fashion. He is most known for his Petroglyph style that he has been perfecting for some time. His traditional work is fascinating as well, he uses some of the best turquoise in his works and builds the silver around the stones. His Petroglyph works include suns, bears, dragonflies, stars, and many other designs. He overlays these designs on a beautiful textured and oxidized background. Alex is a world class Navajo artist and his works will be very collectable for years to come.
This is a handmade, sterling silver, Petroglyph style Navajo ring with natural Kingman Turquoise. The stone is a beautiful blue color with a hint of a charcoal matrix. The stone sits in a smooth bezel.
The silver work is done in Alex’s contemporary petroglyph style. Alex appliqued three circles of life, a dragonfly, a star, moons, and a healing hand to the beautifully textured and dark oxidized background. Sanchez also stamped the band with dragonflies.
This ring is a size 8.
The face of this ring measures 1-11/16 inch by 1 inch and the band measures 1/2 inch,  the stone measures 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch.
