Alex Sanchez is a third generation Navajo artist. He makes beautiful works of art in contemporary and traditional fashion. He is most known for his Petroglyph style that he has been perfecting for some time. His traditional work is fascinating as well, he uses some of the best turquoise in his works and builds the silver around the stones. His Petroglyph works include suns, bears, dragonflies, stars, and many other designs. He overlays these designs on a beautiful textured and oxidized background. Alex is a world class Navajo artist and his works will be very collectible for years to come.
This is a handmade sterling silver Navajo cuff bracelet, with natural Royston Turquoise. The stone is blue green color with a brown host rock matrix.The stone sits in a smooth bezel.
The silver work on this piece is breathtaking! This bracelet features circles of life, rain, bears, dragonflies, stars and a healing hand. Each design was hand cut, and appliqued to the bracelet. Alex finished this piece with a beautiful black oxidation and a high shine.
The full inner circumference of this cuff including the 1 inch wrist opening is 6-5/8 inches. The width of the cuff is 1 inch wide. The center piece of the bracelet is 2-5/8 inch high, and the stone measures 3/4 inch by 9/16 inch.
