Alex Sanchez is a third generation Navajo artist. He makes beautiful works of art in contemporary and traditional fashion. He is most known for his Petroglyph style that he has been perfecting for some time. His traditional work is fascinating as well, he uses some of the best turquoise in his works and builds the silver around the stones. His Petroglyph works include suns, bears, dragonflies, stars, and many other designs. He overlays these designs on a beautiful textured and oxidized background. Alex is a world class Navajo artist and his works will be very collectible for years to come.

This is a, sterling silver, RARE Navajo handmade sculptural style pendant with a natural Kingman Turquoise stone. The stone is a beautiful blue color with an amazing black web matrix. The stone sits in a smooth bezel.

The silver work on this piece is breathtaking! Alex took his traditional Grandmother style pendant and added an amazing crown to it. The crown has circles of life, stars, and rain. The body of this piece is extraordinary, it is completely rounded, with a flat back, giving it an amazing sculpted design. Alex added dragonflies, a stars, rain, and a circles of life, a healing hand, and a sun face. Alex payed attention to detail for this pendant, each design was hand cut, and individually appliqued. The back is also stamped with designs. Alex finished this piece with a beautiful black oxidation and a high shine.

The measurements for this pendant are 5-3/8 inches from top of bale to bottom and 1-3/4 inch at widest point. The bale has a 3/4 inch diameter. The stone measures 7/8 inch long by 3/4 inch at widest point
